12 Jan 12 - Ranbahadur Pun’s funeral will be held on 16 Jan 12 at 1240hrs at South West Middlesex Crematorium Garden, Hounslow Road, Hanworth, Feltham, Middlesex, TW13 5JH. Visitors are requested to be at the Gardens by 1200hrs.

8 Jan 12 - The Gurkha Major has been informed by Lt (Retd) Krishnadhoj Sahi that ex QGE member Cpl Ranbahadur Pun (21162127), age 52, died at Hammersmith Hospital on Wed morning on 4 January 2012. Further details (funeral etc) will be available by contacting contact Krishdhoj Sahi saheb on 07885 445620.

9 Dec - Having successfully reached the summit of Kilimanjaro in 2007, Simon Eagan is again teaming up with Dave Cox and Charlie Grieves-Cook to attempt Aconcagua (nearly 23,000 feet above sea level) in January 2012 - a challenge of a completely different magnitude. The team are raising money for ‘Help for Heroes’, their fund raising page can be found here.

9 Dec - The Gurkha Museum is launching a new sales drive to raise funds for Gurkha Charities (Unit PRIs, GWT and Gurkha Museum ) with the launch of a new series of Gurkha Busts, crafted by Robert Jones (at no cost) and cast by Peter Hicks Limited.
